| This article is a guide for setting up the email accounts that come with your Small Space Hosting service. As we use Cpanel at Small Space the setup process is the same as most other web hosts who use Cpanel. We will still detail the process here though. Step 1: Log into Cpanel You must log into Cpanel for your page. To log into Cpanel please navigate to http://.small-space.com.au where is your username. A box will appear asking you to enter your username and password. Your username is the same as the name you you entered for Step 2: Navigte through the Cpanel Menus Once you are logged into Cpanel you are presented with a series of options to click on. In this examle we are useing the default theeme and default locations for each item. Your screen may differ in appearence due to different theemes and or different catagory locations. You want to select the email accounts link under the Mail catagory. Step 3: Create The Email Account You are presented with a number of fields that need to be filled out. The following are the fields and what you must do with them: Email: In the blank space here you must enter the address that you want to use for your email address. In the drop down box next to the empty box is a list of domains and subdomains that are attached to your account. In the example the email address is: support@small-space.com.au Password: This is the box where you put the password for the email account. You may automatically generate a password or you can make one up your self. Below the password box is a password strength meter the higher it is the more secure your password is. Password (Again): In this box you must enter your new password again to confirm that you typed your password in properly. If the password in this box does not match the password in the first box you will have to type both in again Mailbox Quota (optional); This is the amont of disk space that you want to allocate for the email account. The default setting is 250MB of disk space. Once the amount of email in an acount reaches the account's quota new email will not be accepted untill you clear out the old email messages. Step 4 (optional): This is where you can view current email accounts, their quota and how much of their quota as been used, acces the account's webmail, change the accounts, password, change the account's quota, configure your email clien program and modify the account's security polocy
